I'm 15mins from Lydden, go regularly to watch, mainly rallycross. Ridden it once to use up my tyres, it's a 1gear track i think many would be dissappointed.........As fatbob says would be great on a low cc bike. Having said that the supermotos go well !

Yep done it on a 450 supermoto and it was great fun. Thought I was going well till a guy on a 650 Husky came past me sideways.

Snetterton is a bad place to pick for a lot of the members due to its location.

Any of those 3 are more centrally placed.

We had a poll and Snetterton came out on top twice but I lost the will to carry it on because of general grumbling and lack of further interest probably due to the weather turning shite.

Phil I thought you had vowed never to take to the track in this country again.

Maybe a lot of those who voted for Snett were not really that interested, and immediately you alienate a lot of the people for who it is a very long journey. I was never going to go all the way and am sure there are others in the same position.

Not without arguments. You're better off posting up any trackdays you've booked and see if anyone tags along. As soon as the mercury starts rising I shall be booking Snetterton.

Me too - i bloody love Snett 300, awesome circuit - will be looking to book a day at Snett as soon as weather improves too!
