I was going to get the gilles one but at 65 quid i couldnt justify it. Went to probolt in the end and was 29 + vat

Cool. Did you use the premier members discount? I don't remember you asking for the code?

Didnt realise we had one for probolt !! Im swapping out caliper bolts soon for ti so i will ask then. Cheers

Today, I have fitted radiator and oil cooler covers, R&G front fork bungs, and my optima the charging lead.

Alloy engine protectors arrived today from China, too. Cheap off eBay, but quality and finish seem good. Be interesting to see how they fit.

Hi DoubleRDurham, I've looked at those chinese engine protectors too and was considering taking the plunge when my steed finally arrives. Pics and your opinion much appreciated once you have them on.

I'd also be interested to know what you think of them

First impressions are good. The finish is decent, anodizing good and hard, even colouration. In places it's clear the CNC was set up for speed rather than finish, but that's only really on the unseen inside of the items. The outsides are textured evenly in places. About the only thing I'm not keen on is the logo printed on but I can either get used to it or paint them.

I chose black to match the bellypan colour on my motorsport coloured bike. There are allen-head cap screws supplied with the protectors in stainless, and they even appear to be of reasonable quality; I may still replace them with some of my own, however.

Once I've got them fitted, I'll bung some pictures on.

Got my new, but secondhand from ebay (glad none of you lot spotted them, no reserve and only one other bid...) HP rearsets fitted this morning by the ever helpful bunch at the local Kawasaki shop - was going to do them myself until I saw a couple of recent posts on here.. so 1 hour later and with the comment of 'they look shit hot' from a certain Chris Walker here we have them..

Nice one! Just had mine fitted a few weeks ago, yes they do look fantastic and really make a difference on the bike.

Very nice MacRR - I found my feet slipping occassionally on the factory ones I used the other week, the HP stuff is better for grip as well as looking the dogs danglies. BTW did your forum decals fall off or are they hiding :). ?

You have an eye for detail Soof! Not on the RR yet, but proudly displayed on the GSA

Brand new, unused for less than the price of R&G's - the way they were listed meant they weren't where you'd normally search and for some reason no reserve. Genuine seller, I just fell lucky

That looks mint that Mac, you just need the motorrad levers now mate.

I noticed the first time I rode with the new rearsets that the carbon heel plates were scuffed. I've had them a few weeks and they look terrible! No real point in having them lacquered till winter to make them look new again.

Looks the biz Loupe, just look on the scuffs on the carbon plates as "Enjoyment markers", the only folk with immaculate heel plates have had no enjoyment!! Same goes for carpet burns on your knees, LOL

MacRR, What kind of chain is that?
