Thanks for that! Only 3 weeks to go till my S arrives, and need to do this straight away for my next trip.
I was thinking of drilling and adding two rivnuts like this guy in the US did (although he built a thing that goes inside, rather than a plate) - but tapping a hole might be better.
Couple more questions in case you can help... Did you need spacers on the front between the seat mount and the plate you made to lift it up enough at the front? Did you add spacers on the bolts at the back between the plate and the lock catch too?
