Great day with the fellas from the forum.
Great to meet, Andyf, darrylr, pete, theFlymo, Stephen and Rys1000rr for the first time.
Hope you can all make it to subsequent days.

Soof, Bins and Baz thanks for your efforts on another great event.

It was a good day for me as I got back to my previous times having lost some confidence. Very happy with all bar the camera's decision to suicide...

Yup - great to meet you chaps and a massive thanks for all the efforts of the organisers/team that made such an excellent event!

Look alex - ive this shit down!! ;)

Sounds like you guys had a really good day while we were working in the hot weather (I'm not jealous honest), I need to get caddwell booked on the 20th and meet up with you guys and get some much needed trackday tips. Forum garage looks well Soof with all the banners mate.

Cheers Budgie :). Amazing with the weather, apparently rain tomorrow onwards, couldn't have asked for better? The day is a bit of fun and good to get everyone together for a bit of banter, I have a pic I'll post tomorrow.

You might want to get your skates on with Cadwell. A number of people today said they're booking it after having such a good time today.

Thanks guys. Great day. Must admit I've never seen a pan European at a trackday, still it was very friendly
see you soon

Pete, get this in the monthly photo comp, it's as good a bike pic as I've seen. It's the first photo I've looked at and anticipated the engine noise, very similar to Hillberry TT camera photos.

Putting this camera on the hairpin was brilliant. I've got some cracking shots too :D

From left to right: Alex, TheFlymo, Baz, me, Stephen & Pete.

Darryl had already left at that point and andyf was out playing on circuit (sorry Andy, we had to get packed up and off).

Great day out and good to meet everyone!

I didn't get a chance to sort out my track photos yesterday so I'll have a look later today.

But you and Alex hung around until I finished to say goodbye...

Was great to meet everyone. Was also great to get over 3/4 of the way home without getting soaked. Will probably have to wait about 3 weeks for the photos to appear on picman's website to see if there are any pics that don't make it look like I'm wussing out of the corners.

Sorry andy, poor quality post by myself. I meant that everyone was getting packed up and off so got a quick pic with whomever I could find at that moment.

the pics are up now, glad I didn't get a cd, I was hoping for a nice pic off the curb camera but alas it isn't there

EDIT: I've just seen theres an 'unsorted' folder worth looking in

Great day, great to meet you guys and sincere thanks for all your hard work setting this up.

I'm finally able to comprehend what an absolute weapon the RR is. I keep thinking back to the exit of Palmers, second gear, winding the throttle on, still hanging off the bike, still leant over but with the front wheel off the deck. Then contrast with this morning, threading through gridlock London traffic in the pouring rain in absolute comfort and control. It's mindblowing that such equipment can exist to do all that, let alone that I can own it...

Although I was happy to have the GoreTex gloves and clear visor today after all :)

Checking the tog's pics before the last session made it clear that I don't hang off nearly as far as I think I do. So last session, clear track, hung off like an ape and began to turn polymer into road-dust on both sides. Satisfying, it's been a long time! (Although I think I was about 20 secs a lap slower...)

Would of been great to hang about a bit at the end but my shoulder had let go and my new found friend also needed to get my bike loaded - what a star he turned out to be.

I'm going to do everything in my power to attend these in the future!!

Well done guys - i felt very welcome and hope we mange to sink some beers at some point ;)

I had a fantastic day yesterday, really nice to meet everyone and a really relaxed enviroment in the S1000RR.co.uk Pit Garage :)

Snetterton is a fantastic circuit. Just a shame its so far away!

Heres a few laps from yesterday. It's quite good looking over what i did, thinking how i can improve next time i'm out. Really love the gyrocam :)

Pretty slow tbh, but I had fun and thats all thats important.

I haven't bothered buying the photos from the day as there aren't any great shots and it's ?40 that can go towards another track day.
