Rectifier removal

Ok. Anyone managed to get the bloody thing off the bike without removing the rear shock? Space is too tight to get tools in . Instructions would be gratefully received

easier with shock out
have managed to get it out sometimes wiring is quite difficult
ive had to change generator several times original reg rec is still ok though
abba stand and just undoing top mount could be enough
