The whole point of carbon is for light weight. Replacing panels with lighter ones. Not sticking it all over the place and making the bike heavier.

I appreciate the frame ones have a purpose, due to heat and that.

Don't do the swing arm ones.

Swingarm and frame covers are for covering gravel rash :)

Ha ha good one! That's reason enough for me!

Re: New ride and previous ride.

If you are buying stuff from zero limits you'll speak to my niece Lisa on the phone , ask her for some proper discount 8) 8)
The nose cone is a very decent piece of kit , that is manufactured by the same peeps as other much more expensive suppliers.

Removed those HUGE frame sliders today and fitted the ilmberger frame covers today, they look awesome and blend in all the other ilmberger carbon.

Got to be up at 5am for a because a mate wants to do a fucking photoshoot when the suns rising up in the peaks, I'll get some proper photos tomorrow.

You were the bloke on the Junkies who got proper tugged (raided) after putting footage of interesting road riding on YouTube weren't ya?

At what stage do you think learning will ever take place?

yup, 8 police raided my house.

I did actually learn my lesson, I still ride like an idiot, I still film myself, I just don't upload the videos to youtube ;D ;D

What difference would it have made if I'd had a 9 x 7 plate on in the videos? none.

Re: New ride and previous ride.

I just wondered if taking the piss to that extent might make you more "noticed" by the boys in blue?

Each to their own for sure.

I'm quite happy for some bikers to choose to wave the red rag at the boys in blue bull.

Keeps the rest of us nicely anonymous when we choose to stretch our legs.

Crack on mate. Bike looks great btw.

Re: New ride and previous ride.

I do it to keep a clean licence mate, I can afford to shell out £60. had 3 fines for my plates in 6 years and covered over 50,000 miles.

The vids were traced via IP address, then via ISP, then address from ISP. No plates were ever on show in the vids.

That was on the GSXR 1000 wasn't it

Re: New ride and previous ride.

You NEED a full length bellypan. The gap the cat leaves looks shocking!

Tell me it's the next carbon mod?
