Great blast to Oban today.. with my mate Mick on his gixxer 750 and Keith on his GS (no slouch on it). Goes to show any bike in the right hands will not be to far behind.
This was our first outing really in around 6 or 7 weeks due to our horrendous weather. I reckon so far this is the poorest summer we've had in a very long time.
The road from Oban to Lochgilphead/Inverary was in great condition...as was the whole way round actually. Nice and hot and those Michelins I have on are super sticky...
The guy with that cracking Blue Gixxer 750 had a really bad smash outside Inverary last year on a Blade he was telling me.. so he bought this and made some changes.. Carbon Rims... Nitron rear Shock and Inserts proper set up in Glasgow and some sticky rubber..oh and a can too... about 4 grands worth... hes a shortarse so butchered the seat and got up this morning not having finished it so he just taped it up...lol.
Really smart machine..
