Thanks Monners. Both trips were around midsummer & I was really lucky with the weather. Three mostly sunny & dry days.

The Scottish roads are great and with good weather the scenery is fantastic.

You can be lucky at this time of year and get nice days but with shorter daylight. On the other hand it can rain terribly & be cold.

I hope you make it and get good weather.
