Picked mine up yesterday (Friday) did 100mls, jury's out on the shifter at the moment, big delays accelerating up through the 'box and very stiff coming down. . Hoping it's like my '10 was, great at high revs, have to wait 'till the limiter's off. Pull away is a bit 'fluffy', initial throttle needs more than I'm used to or it bogs down (race mode), roll on releasing the rest of the beast, hopefully it will all gel together. Pegs a little high for me (6'2" + old age !) after an hr or so but should be great on track. Glad I got the wheels, jeeze what a difference! Trying hard to be picky now but I can't, yet lol ! ....
good stuff... :triumphant: .. cant wait to see it !

Even with the wiring getting in the way of the bars there's more turning circle when manoeuvring the bike than the blade

Thing is Cally the HP4 rims are finished in a really rough matt finish. Think it has been done like that for racing.

Yes thats true the finish is more like a Matt chassis paint.
Not too keen on asking the assistant in my local Halfords for rim wax either, certainly not while wearing my squeaky Sidi boots lol

I know that marzy I got the hp4wheels on my bike :) when you put on the wax its only like a polish when it dries you wipe it off and the wheels look just like new . I went out on my bike and when I got home the wheels were white from the road salt I only had to wipe them over with a dry micro fiber cloth and hey presto

Got a good tip for you to loupe if your sidi boots are squeeky give them a spray with silicone spray it worked wonders when my sidis were like that lol I used to feel like a **** walking around the local bikers cafe with squeek squeek until someone told me about silicone spray

That's cool mate. Halfords stock it?

That's **** luck Loupe. I've got used to the wheel paint work now. Managed another 100 miles today so ready for the service Friday..

That's them washed and the finish looks like it's been scoured with a scotch pad? Does your wheels look like this?

Just checked mine again mate and no they don't look like yours, which look terrible. You may have a case with warranty.
I have noticed my knee's appear to be eating into the paint on the white infills under the tank.
