Yep 2014 model seat and pillion pegs fit fine. If you buy a seat make sure it comes with the lock cylinder housing (Part 52538549430). The first one I bought didn't (most on eBay don't), and of course it's ?35 and back ordered with BMW for several months. Had to stump up for another seat that had the part included....

Hi all,
Got the back seat and pegs on my bike in the deal as I kicked up such a fuss about it. I got on to BMW and they said I could have it in the deal, so all in it cost me ?14,500 OTR with the performance pack but with no trade in as sold GSXR before hand,

Dean

Stuck an S1000R comfort pillion seat on my '13 RR, miles better than std seat, 5 minute job to change the lock. Swopping it onto the 2015 bike I'm picking up next week which believe it or not I'm buying secondhand - must be the first in the country!!

Might be the second one mate, cooper Sunderland had a second hand one in 64 plate 200 miles on , the lad wanted the hp wheels that bad he put his new bike in to get the other one ,must of lost a few grand

Marzy: how do you clean your wheels? I power washed sponged and brushed them and they still looked " bleached"
. To get the rich black colour back in I got an old rag with wd40 and went over them. Any other ideas?

Yep thats the bike I'm getting! Bought my last bike from Mark and he's sorted me out a great deal on this one which has got the performance pack & motorsport colours, wasn't going to change but a test ride on a '15 bike while mine was in for a service a couple of weeks ago proved to be a fatal mistake!

you might as well say brand new ,I was looking at it when I was sorting mine out ,it is literally as new ,
i was the same wasn't going to change but they gave a good deal,,bought a few bikes off them now ,
when do you pick it up

They're delivering it on Wednesday morning as I'm not exactly round the corner. I've had two top deals from them now, far better than I can get from a certain couple of BMW dealers located around here...

Picked mine up yesterday (Friday) did 100mls, jury's out on the shifter at the moment, big delays accelerating up through the 'box and very stiff coming down. . Hoping it's like my '10 was, great at high revs, have to wait 'till the limiter's off. Pull away is a bit 'fluffy', initial throttle needs more than I'm used to or it bogs down (race mode), roll on releasing the rest of the beast, hopefully it will all gel together. Pegs a little high for me (6'2" + old age !) after an hr or so but should be great on track. Glad I got the wheels, jeeze what a difference! Trying hard to be picky now but I can't, yet lol ! ....

Bike I test rode had done 400 miles and I managed to blag it for an hour and a half and give it a er 'proper' test. Gearbox on that bike was superb, slick, quick shifts up and down at a variety of speeds so I#'m a bit bemused at some of the negative comments I've seen on here.

Was the limiter off?

Limiter dosnt come off till 450/600 mile service mate ,Well this is my third s1000rr (from coopers)and if it's as good as the other 2 I'll be happy , I think it's a case of you will always hear about the little niggles ,mines sitting here in the garage with 2 mile on it ,waiting for the weather to change ,and just looking at it makes me a happy man let alone when I get out on it ha

Been using this for 10 years Loupe.....

I used wheel wax on mine when I bought it and the wheels have been easy to clean ever since
