Holy smoke thats some price for insurance Ross but like you said get a years no claims and it should drop a good bit, i had 2 time a 1 point a few years ago i just insured the 2nd bike 3rd party for the 1st year to get the no claims going on it.

Neither had I Tycos. Id never sat on one including my HP4 even when it sat in the showroom. Walked in signed the paperwork and walked out.

First time was when the geezer wheeled it off the delivery van.. it was just right, every bit of it. Enjoy your first shot.

I bought mine blind over the phone having never even riden a sports bike before, wouldnt ride anything else now.
Also my insurance was 600 when i bought the bike and by the time i went to collect 3 hours later it had gone up to over 1500 with 2 years no claims. They said it was because id not had a 1000cc sportsbike before. Having riden the bike home tho i didnt give a sh!t about the price, i wouldve paid double again. Its tremendous u wont regret it

Bennetts renewal with current underwriters had gone up and they only had one other underwriter to go to but couldn't get that cost till next week. Thought I'd try Bemoto today and what a helpful bunch to deal with. A great saving over Bennetts plus a small reduction for mentioning the forum. I was going to wait till next week to see what Bennetts come back with but Bemoto offered a further reduction if I purchased today. In all a ?100 saving. Give them a try
