That's a nice new bike you have there Ross, where did you buy it? Lol!

I may be slightly succumbing to this cleaning thing... went out at 7am this morning to back-to-black my frame, mirrors, and fairing from 2.5 years of neglect. Came up nice.

Altho I didn't have back-to-black, but i did have Dashboard Dandy (satin) did the same job.

Before and After of mirrors (also before rubbing it over, which removes the high gloss finish) but still a nice improvement for my previous neglected toy.

Tried to reduce 4k vibrations. Tried Evotech bar ends, no difference, tried Evotech bar ends and Grip Puppies, bit less but still numb hands in too short a time. Fitted Throttlemeister heavy bar ends with Grip Puppies. Still to try and fitted Puig 'double bubble' screen also still to try.

I used motivation heavy bar ends, which reduced them slightly and moved vibes from 4000 to 3000. I then fitted grip puppies and it seems to be better, will report again after a long run.

Will ask dealer when it goes in for service at end of May. It's a real put off since 4k is around legal speeds 😬

I've read a few people say about vibrations but mine has never suffered with it. one of the only common problems i think mine has skipped

My old s1k was bad for vibrations, to the point it wasn't any fun to ride as you knew what was was coming

Been a busy week end fitted 2 Dunlop sportsmart 2 tyres , new DID chain , MRA double bubble screen also Fitted and set up a HM quick shifter on the beemer , wow what a difference slick, fast positive shifts, best upgrade ive fitted to the bike ,well worth the money.

Billy

Yes the HM shiffter is so much better than stock; I rode a hire bike from focused events last week at Silverstone and I had forgotten how pants the stock shiffter was until I rode that.

Fitted the carbon hugger without hole today, nice piece of kit matches bmw carbon perfectly. I put rubber washers under bolt heads so not to damage carbon.
