Have you done the rear shock before Bob? Its a bit of an arse. Have plenty of tea and biscuits on standby.

cheers fella
i did hear that , been looking about for ways to make it easier , Ive already used my phone a friend.......should be fun Im sure

They either slip straight out (depending on which way the springs coils are pointing would you believe) or you have to raise the subframe. Looking at the new shock which looks fantastic by the way with all the sticky out bits it could be arse end upwards anyway. Good luck

Ive fitted 2 tyres , changed front brake pads and cleaned the calipers, powder coated my OEM heel guards black ,fitted a MRA double buble screen , the weathers looking a bit better so out for a blast this weekend.

Decided to use my rear tyre to clear up someone else's rubbish.
which resulted in using BMW assist to recover my bike to barnstormer maidenhead, for a pair of metzeler racetecs.

You sir above are a tart. Looks very nice all in carbon, if you hadn't beaten me to it I could have been tempted my self.

I've refitted the belly pan and exhaust, replaced the missing heel plate bolt, another clean and polish, blown the tyres up and lubed the chain. Weather looks good tomorrow for a blast.

Bob, no worries dude, glad they helped.

Refitted my radiator and some piping, need to improvise how the oil cooler bolts up though as the rad is bent on one side so it doesn't line up. (tie wraps spring to mind - lol).

I turned the top mount for the rear shock upside down today. Just need to see what it does for the steering now

Had it dyno'd.

Not too shabby at 192.1 at the wheel with just 900 miles on the clock.

Nice what mods do u have.
I have heard that the newer ones don't get them sort of figures.
Can't wait to get a few more miles on mine to get it done.

2012 bike with full Akky Evo system, standard air filter and PCV. That's it.

It seems that 2010-2011 bikes with similar mods & 8-9k on the clock make about 196-197 BHP so maybe your statement is true? I'd expect mine to rise another 2-3 BHP as the mileage rises.

It's only 1 map for the modes
Think you can store 2 on the newest pcv or get one of those auto tune thingies

It was mapped in slick, that's all I ever ride anyway.

Just fitted a set of Black stubby Pazzo levers and a new small rear reg plate , looks the dogs
