So you've probably all read my other post "what brake lines" talking about the options to get the Panigale brake set up fitted to the S thou. I visited Pirtek to get the standard lines modified and after much Umm, Ahh, and contorted face the chap said he could do it. However, he didn't fill me with confidence so I got in touch with Hel and spoke with Shaun - Really good chap.

This morning a custom set of lines turned up, so it was spanners out!!

Panigale Callipers & M/C, custom lines, HH pads

What a ball ache removing/fitting the front lines. I had to strip the bike right back.

The end results were worth the effort. The callipers are significantly lighter and with uprated everything it'll stop pretty well too.

I used the S thou fluid bottle as it sat in a much better position. The Duc one sat too close to the fairing on full lock for my liking.

Just a few bits to go now, and shell be ready for the 'good' weather.

That's not stripping the bike..;) Brakes are looking good Dave :D btw is that toggle switch for a second map or something?

Fitted a Austin Racing ARCS GP ultimate exhaust system (thanks Bananaman) and fitted set of Watsen flush mount front indicators , looks sweet.

My Postie braved the elements today to deliver me a new RAM Mount from http://www.telferizer.com/
It looks great and works brilliantly, plus the chap selling them (Bob) is superb - a true biking fan, providing very helpful old-school service. When was the last time you paid for something from a standard retailer after it had delivered and you could test it out first? (As soon as he said that, you knew that it would be good) :D . Recommended!

MRA screen fitted, those screen bungs weren't that bad to transfer over.

Replaced the wiring to the battery for my new heated gloves.

Nothing - sat under a cover for aaages now...will do some work on it when I have some free time! :)

So I have had the bike for about 3 weeks and had to wait for payday but this week it has had R&G rad guard, cotton reels, and a hex can protector, Akrapovic conical end can, Titax Levers, MRA screen, tie downs, carbon front mud guard and rear hugger, single seat pod, motografix front number boards and tank protector and I'm waiting for a D3 tail tidy.

Did you fit them yourself G? I watched in horror when MCT were taking the forks apart on mine. It took both of them together to undo the cartridges. I've taken forks apart before but this looked like a real struggle and I haven't got a spring compressor.
