Anyone fancy hooking up tomorrow. I'll be at the Green Welly back of 8am....

I Fancy heading thru the Glen and doing the A86... and seeing where I end up.... Loch Lomondside is empty when I leave (back of 7).

No takers, but I was in the mood for a right good blast so a solo one.. ...left Dumbarton @ 7.30am...fueled up... roads quiet so had a good charge on...got to the Welly at 8.11 and was in Inverness for 10.30..road was excellent all the way up... hooked up with Loupe for a coffee and a Danish...good to see him...

He was looking dapper in his suit I must say, check the pic..tried to sell me a Rolex..till he seen I had only coppers in my pocket... lol... good chat and a laugh...just what I needed...

Decided to double back and just had to do the A86... just sensational, the downside is the penance of the 30 miles down the A9 to Ballinluig Diner.... good bit of food there, then back on to country roads to Aberfeldy, Crianlarch and down the Lochside.... mileage circa 350... could have stopped for pics in loads of places but would have upset the flow...

Canal bridge opened for a couple of boats...forgot about that...

Glad you got home before the weather turned, you put me in the mood to get the bike out after work but it was pouring late afternoon.

That would of been a great day out!! All great roads, apart from the A9! I'll need to hop across on the ferry for a blast round these roads at some point through the summer

I was a bit tight on time Stuart otherwise I'd have joined you - I only manged a wee route from Falkirk to Gleneagles, Crieff, Lochearnhead, Callendar for breakfast then back home.…….I was early enough so roads were quiet

Aye it was a great run lads.. early birds a must to miss the holiday traffic..

We're doing Mallaig tomorrow then ferry to Skye... theres a couple of new riders so it will just be a decent pace and a good day out.

I'll bang some snaps on here..

Anyone else think Loupes been at court...what with the suit on and that lol..


Only 4 or 5 of us going...I'm not usually a group rider but actually quite fancy tomorrow... might actually look at the scenery for a change [emoji849]
