I have the OEM tank bag, which fixes to a bracket on the bike. It is secured by two metal(?) lugs and a velcro strap. One of the metal lugs has broken off (on motorway, so I don't have it, not that glue would have worked anyway). Whilst I don't think the bag is at risk of falling off, it is less secure than it was.
I'm keeping an eye on eBay for second hand ones, and I certainly don't want to pay BMW ?130 for a new one...but it seems such a small thing to have to replace the bag at all.
I'm therefore wondering if anyone else had had this problem, and how did you resolve it? (Oh, and if anyone has the bag for sale, let me know. I don't need the bracket).
