Hi everyone.

Just changed my old GSX-R 750 K5 to S1000RR 2014.
I love this brakes (especially with race pads when they are hot) and this power. But still searching for good suspension settings. And need to spend some time and money to adjust new bike for me. Some rearsets, stomp grip.

Have a little question for owners on this bike with stock fork.
I just have it serviced by warranty and have noticed that rebound adjuster (clicker on the top) have a small play. I can push it down easily by my finger for 1 mm. Than if I push fork up and down or just have a ride, it goes up.
So this is ok, is it the same on your bikes, or it was put together in wrong way?

Thank you four your answers!

Hi pirks. Welcome to the forum and good to read you are enjoying your bike. I don't know the answer to your fork question but no doubt someone will be along who does.

Thanks guys.

Hope someone with my year bike will find few minutes to look at their forks. As I'm losing my sleep)
Have noticed today that one of rebound adjuster have one extra click. This stupid mechanics are killing me. From third attempt they couldn't put the fork together in right way. Lol

Welcome along, try sticking a specific post in the technical area as some with expertise may not be looking at welcome posts.

I don't have stock shocks to look at. But it does sound wrong. I would be booking it in with a garage asap.
