Last time I looked it was about £400 for the 2D sensor and the additional loom.
Not sure there is a mounting kit for one yet. Baz made a nice little bracket to mount it off the front mudguard.

The rod will connect to the bike but the mounts are wrong.
The top of the fork is narrower than Gen3, so that just needs a sleeve to help it grip.
The bottom one requires a custom solution, and HAS to be front mounted to avoid being hit (by the bike).
Ahh I thought you said it was smaller. Sorry. You probably said the Gen3 was smaller and I didn't listen lolThe gen4 fork is fractionally larger than gen3 so,a slightly longer screw is ideally required for the top clamp.
The sensor needs to be fitted in front of the fork leg and a bracket fabricated to fit the mudguard screws.
I will post photos when my bike comes back from Jerez.
Question about DDC in Pro Modes....
For Engine, ABS, DTC etc - when setting these in a Pro mode, it tells you what the Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race preset values are for reference. However, the screen doesn't give the presets values for front and rear damping. Does anybody know what the DDC settings actually are for the default modes? The manual just says Comfortable, Sporty and Race Track - not very specific....
I've had my S1000RR Sport for 2 weeks, only done 300 miles (bad weather + had a flippin puncture!)
So far, I've found the ride to be quite harsh.
I'm quite light (71kg without gear, 76kg suited and booted). I notice, from the manual, that the springs with no preload are suited to an 85 kg rider (not sure if this is with gear or not?)
My questions are....
1. Are other lighter riders experiencing a harsh ride?
2. Does the suspension become less stiff after doing a good chunk of miles?
3. Does anbody know what the spring rates are in the front forks and rear shock?
4. Has anybody changed their springs on the new model yet?
In the intro the project lead of the RR said that the Shim package can be used to adjust to rider weight and riding.
I need to investigate more to understand what do 2 smallish Shims can change in the bike...

This all sounds really complcated, overly expensive and time consuming when all i want to do is reduced the compression damping a few clicks for the road.
