Fault in the Engine control warning

Hi, I bought an ex demo Gen 4 2019 sport. Took her out for 1st time today and within 20 miles I had a fault code on dash saying "fault in the engine control - onward journey possible ride carefully to next specialist workshop". Bike is standard and has had recalls done, has anybody else experienced this? Dealer doesn't open till Tuesday..

I think I have heard of it. Power off and on sorted it...i think

Yeah, I?ve had this a few times on my bike as well. Every time this happened to me it was related to emissions control. One parameter slightly off causes this error. Disappeared completely when I got rid of my stock exhaust.

Cheers, tried switching on and off but it came back on. Did you take it to the dealer to run diagnostic?... Also what exhaust you running?

Yeah I did and they told me the same every time. Exhaust valve didn?t close quickly enough and therefore Greta was not amused and threw a tantrum in form of a fault code on the dash.
