i think i might go for the m7rr's as i still use my bike in winter so more likely to end up wet. They seem like a good all rounder. Do you know anywhere round here that sell them. Could only find them online
Cheers for your help

In the past I have used Sirrells near Leeds but I am on the lookout for somewhere over this side of the A1..... didn't have a great experience the last two times I've been.

I don't think you will have any problems with M7RRs though. I am bias I'm on my third set.

Soof has followed me around a wet Cadwell and on a soaked A1 too. I wasn't happy on the K3's in my head but tbh i barely had a moment. Most excitement was spinning up in standing water on Park straight.

I've fitted Conti Sport Attack 3's now as I seem to get caught out in wet conditions too often.

For all weather use on the road, good mileage and the odd trackday M7RR's (other brands are available!) are the way to go

Jax motorcycles in york can do them, cheaper than online aswell which includes fitting to a loose wheel

Metzeler

I've been using Metzeler Racetec RRs (K1, K2 and K3) on track all season and they are rather unsurprisingly dreadful in the wet.

Sure mate they are power super sport. Power super cup are way too soft... ideal track tyres tho... for longevity power super sport is the preferred option.

I'm thinking of trying the Michelin Slicks as and when I make the move to do a Euro day - ?100 less than Pirelli's and lets face it I am not going to notice.

Ill give the forum a breakdown of mileage, feel, wear etc when I stick them on Alex. The Michs have big boots to fill after the Metzelers...we'll see how they do.

Changed to RR's after corsas and liked them both although not in the damp/wet (probably coz i'm generally a fair weather rider) Now changed to Bridgestone VO2's slick for track, awesome wear rate and plenty of grip to the end, and lots cheaper.

great pics mate you've got stuck right in , can't wait to see it when it's all done.

Snow, how did you stop the metal blocks sliding down in your subframe when you took out both bolts at the same time? Last pic.

They just stayed there, had em out a few times and they've never moved. Theres abit of play in them but they aint going anywhere (off back into the shed now to put the bolts in just incase lol)

The BM sub-frames always look like something that's been knocked up in a shed when compared to other makes :disillusionment:.

Hopefully they're captive nuts in the sub-frame. Mine stayed put when I took the blanking screws out to fit the exhaust hanger.
