Had her up on the bench last yesterday and had a good hunt round, engine looks dry, rad looks fine (fall apart if poorly maintained). Body work is good for age, engines tight and revs well...I forgot all about that guy thing whine off the induction side...magic !
Theres an R1 caliper conversion on the front, not too happy about the routing of the lines, might need to modify, Brembo M/C conv peering thru the reservoir the fluid could be doing with a change..
Anyhow ordered a service kit last night, was pretty lucky, picked up a set of Iridium NGKs for 27 quid, Hi-Flo Air Filter for under a tenner, 10/40 fully synthetic Power 1 was ?31 delivered off EB.. scrolled down to seller it was Opie surprisingly, I had almost bought 4 ltrs direct from the @ ?36 but they had no plugs hence the search... on that note the plugs on this are a pure ******* to get too.
I've printed off the 18k maintenance schedule and some items are timed out too, so I'll do everything except the valve clearances as I don't have shims...
