The bottom pin does not go in completely ???

Might just be me, but that upper 'cup' seems to sit a long way out from the frame compared to the pics posted earlier by Stuart.

It's the HP4... maybe different fittings? Mine is a 2016...

I realise that, but the relative location of the pins on the 1Jac itself look to be very similar if not the same, so the relative position of the cup and pivot should therefore be similar too - but the upper cup looks to be far further proud of the frame relative to the pivot than it should be, judging by the pictures.

Amit if it helps I can put my iJac in the car and bring it to you to compare. It took me lots of tinkering to get both wheels equidistant of the ground but it can be done.

Now there's an offer I cannot turn down...

Can offer real curry and beer and or cups of tea or posh coffee from the Nespresso machine :)

Deep in the recess of the bike frame is a nut. It needs to come out and the cup for the 1 jac go in.

Hang on mate, I'll have a look at mine, I'm sure my bottom pin doesn't reach fully home either. If your wheel is still hitting the deck the threaded rod is to blame, adjust that and all will be well. The top mount needs the nut take out I'm sure...

So you will see the bottom pin just prior to lifting the bike sits about 6 mil out of the recess. As I lift the handle the pin engages fully. I agree that top locator looks proud. You have to remove that nut. You don't need to swap it to the other side.. simply remove the nut and replace with sleeve provided. If I remember that top nut is not exactly mega tight. So it loosens off quite easily. The threaded rod is the key to the front wheel.

A BIG thanks to Richy170 who battled the rush hour traffic for nearly 2 hrs to come over with his 1jac. Basically, the fitting that I have been supplied seems incorrect

After fiddling and swapping bolts, we managed to get the bike off the ground, albeit, not even, but I will try and get a replacement bit and try again.... many thanks again Richard.
