GSXR 1000 K8 - made to feel like a moped compared to the S1000

Been riding a 'busa for the last year. Was great when I was spending a lot of time on the continent but as I'm not doing so anymore I decided I wanted something smaller and more playful for the local roads. Plus I'm only 5'6" and not a beefcake so find it a bitch at anything under 5mph.

Makes the s1rr feel slow!!!

farbro !! Looks like the blue Trumpet is a Cat A What category of damage did you suffer? Not to much I hope.

broken right wrist 45 degrees. nice plate but now out. fractured left shoulder and left index finger. damaged left foot.

all happend last feb. was filtering doing 20mph car did a 3 point turn hit my left foot broke my right wrist could not close the gas eventually went down about 60mph off a couple of cars.

was in a cast 6 weeks soon as it was off on the weds picked up the black bike on the saturday. sadly the bike was only a replacement i did not care for it i missed the neon blue. so took a nice yellow s1000rr out for a test ride.
now have my bike and the feeling and enjoyment has come back to riding

How did you get the Big dent in the Tank?
SP1 brings back very fond memories for me I loved mine more than my then other half
