Work Offshore as a Subsea Engineer - fix and repair BOP's (Blow Out Preventer) so if you ever need your BOP fixed give me a shout ha ha ha ha ha . - i think its a good thing to know, i just read that few there and said to myslef . Oh thats good to know.

Work offshore North Sea and have done for the past 24 years. Offshore Installation Manager, i manage an offshore oil and gas production complex for Repsol Sinopec North Sea. I'm an instrument engineer to trade so I know how your oil pressure and coolant temperature indication works. Been off the tools for the past 10 years so not much use to anyone now

Did you work for James Scott on the CATS project in the early 90's Stevie? Possibly on the Tiffany.

Been there for 4 years and previously a mechanical technician doing naval ship refits and also spent 6 months building a new nuclear submarine for BAE systems. Simon, where were you based during your time building Nuclear subs with BAE? that is my profession....if you can call it a profession.

Hi Jimmy, sorry, not been on here for a wee while. I worked with James Scott on the Lomond hook-up, 1992 ish if memory serves me, that's pretty close for punt in a job 20 odd years ago!!! Think Tiffany and North Everest were on the go at the same time??? I was a tiffy doing the commissioning circuit back then.
