When I asked, I got some very useful real world info from another premier member the other day which helped me out on a subject I knew little about. I'm not talking about sexual favours, yet, but was wondering if because the premier section is 'closed' there would be any interest in posting what we all do professionally just in case we can help one another out with stuff non bike related.

Any thoughts?

Edit - if anyone who posts on this thread wants their content deleting one day for any reason, just PM me or Alex, it will be done.

Unless people need to know how to build nuclear submarines then i will be of no use to anyone haha. but like you say its a good idea, so that we can get a better understanding of who to ask what and share knowledge :)

lol iain If I ever need help to glo in the dark al give you a shout, I don't have a problem with sharing what I do , but like iain don't know how much help I could be to anyone soof... ( warehouse manager for a souvenir/gift company) still think it could be a good thing, it's not what you know it's who you know.......

I own an IT b2b managed services company. I'm not going to offer to fix PCs, but I can help with pointers on firewalls / security / cloud / WANs / DR, that sort of stuff. Boring but necessary.

SSO - Single Sign On for Enterprises.
IAM - Identity and Access Management
Enterprise Scale IT shizzle. Except the firewalls and routing! So no conflict of interest ;)
Studying my for a CISSP.

Basically zero use unless your company is looking for Federated SaaS/IdaaS in the cloud/on premise, in which case then tell them you know just the person ;)

Guess I can't help anyone with non bike related stuff... But if anyone needs any help with anything mechanical just drop me a line :) I'm pretty good with electrical faults and most bmws from 1970-now... So far I've not met a bike I couldn't fix :p

Automotive industry, specifically chassis. Manufacturing/Process engineer. Mechanical/electrical background. Welding/robots and welding with robots! Usual run of the mill stuff that we all have in our garages/sheds. Lol

I'm a Bench jeweller,
We repair, manufacture and sell jewellery within our shop.
I can help soften the blow when you buy nice new things for your bike, just buy diamonds for your other half. :cheerful:

I work in B2B sales for a large consumer finance company, credit cards, loans, point of sale finance (IFC, BNPL) that kind of stuff, consumer insurance premium funding.

Work offshore North Sea and have done for the past 24 years. Offshore Installation Manager, i manage an offshore oil and gas production complex for Repsol Sinopec North Sea. I'm an instrument engineer to trade so I know how your oil pressure and coolant temperature indication works. Been off the tools for the past 10 years so not much use to anyone now :)

Ok so I have two jobs one of which might be useful to you all!

1) I own a recruitment company based in Shoreditch (ERP market placing freelancers in the Nordics and Benelux)

2) I am a Magistrate...don't all hate me please! I am actually totally bike biased (which I should not admit) so if you are in court for a biking offence you better hope you get me! Haha on a serious note I know the law pretty well and if you have ANY questions; motoring or not please message me privately and I will offer help and guidance and also provide an approximate outcome of how things may fall. Obviously Premier Members only and please respect my confidentiality if I am respecting yours!

Anyone got any contacts in the jewelery business. Seen this in Krakow yesterday and really want one The wee shop is looking for too much for it. It looks amazing on and fits perfectly but as a preowned I think its over priced. Cheers Stuart

I'm a business and technology consultant specialising in manufacturing and automotive. I do all sorts, from helping write business strategy and IT strategy to Lean improvement projects on the factory floor, business process mapping, procurement (mostly ERP, PLM and CRM systems), project and programme management (not long ago finished a ?1m project supporting a factory build, currently overseeing their ERP implementation). I have a technical IT background, but I've not worked at the sharp end of that for years.

I'm also a (now lapsed) qualified electrician, but still do all my own sparks. I'm a structured cabling installer too. I can do plumbing.

I can sew, by hand and machine.

I'm an experienced mechanic, having started working on cars when I was a kid. By the time I was 16, I'd bought my first car, a 1967 Triumph Herald which I restored for when I passed my driving test. Since then, I've worked on many more cars, bikes, and commercial vehicles (and I do it all in my spare time). The only thing I don't do is bodywork, but everything else from servicing, to engine swaps, clutches, gearbox rebuilds, LPG installations, you name it... done that.

Hi Iam a qualified electrician with over 20 years of service in domestic and industrial installations if thats any help
