Water pump leak

Has anyone had problems with dripps of fluid coming from the weeping hole of the water pump ?. Is it time to get the seal and bearing replaced ? If so where is the best place to get them and how much should I expect them to cost ?.

Thanks for the info. I've got no problem removing the pump so I'll get seals ordered. Is the gasket reusable ??

Think you will find that if you look, there will be a lot more like this. My Gen 1 had a stain from that hole so changed for new (oe) one, within 6mths was the same. Never 'lost 'water up to the day I sold it 12months later.
My Gen 3 is the same, I always check but never needed to top up, in fact I've still got the original in case of a real malfunction...

I have been told it's common on these bikes. Checked the coolant and it runs at the right temp so not too concerned at the moment. Maybe a job for the winter months.
