Transferring the lock from my rear seat.......

onto the seat cowl.... ??
how do you get the barrel section out of the seat housing ?? what am I doing wrong ??

any tips please I thought this would be a five min job ?? lol

Done it found the little retaining clip !!!! dumbass at times !!
