Removing Akrapovic Slip on issues

Hello,

getting my bike ready for track day and decided to remove my slip on and put the original back on again as i don't wanna scratch my Akra one. I undid all the bolts etc but i couldn't for the life of me get the bloody thing to come loose. Its like it has welded itself in place, it gives about half and inch and then nothing, it took all my force to get the thing back to where it started from. Anyone tried getting their slip on off or got any good tips?

Warm it up put on some heavy duty gloves then try again

Thanks, change of plans now, I'm taking my brothers ZX10 track bike off his hands so my exhaust can stay where it is.

Why would you scratch your Akro on a track day ??

It was gonna be more a just in case i low sided it kinda deal, saving the pennies if i had to replace etc.

Only because its a track day, doesn't mean your gonna crash. You'll be fine ;-)
