Not an owner yet

Evening all

As the title I'm not an owner yet but am looking to be in the very near future and this is the start of my ownership; to find out what I'm looking for!

Currently sitting on a 750 gsxr which I've just taken round the Pyrenees for 10 days which was a lot of fun but would have liked a few more horses. I love my gixxer and it's been faultless since I've had it and it'll be hard to move on but I'm sure it'll get easier with the help of an s1000

I live in the Birmingham area and I'm a little short of opportunity to get out on rides so open to invites if there are any locals on the forum.

No doubt I'll have lots of question, mostly ones that have been asked a thousand times and probably stupid so I'll be sure to check out the forum first.

A proper first post - welcome along - S1000RR is easy to ride when not in a hurry...so just enjoy and build up.

Advice taken on board Alex I understand the RR is a beast of its own kind

Budget looks set to land me a 2010 model as I have a bout 5k in mine and another 3 ish in cash. Will probably have to end up financing a small amount to get what I would like unfortunately as I'm bottom of the budget for the RR but time will tell. I don't tend to rush these things as I think they're worth the wait, especially this time of year.

I'll have a look at the meets forum when it opens up to me and see if I can come along and say hello

Welcome. The S1000 will literally blow the gixxer away. I know I've still got mine! Welcome. As jimmymac said no such thing as a stupid question, but bear in mind the answers might be be stupid!!!
