hi all
a bit of biking history
zx6r f3, zx6r J1, zx6r A1 trackbike, zx6r b1,zx6r p7f, cbr1000rr4, gsxr k5 1000 trackbike, r1 4c8, r1 4c8 trackbike
currently own a 2015 r1 for a bit of road and track riding
test rode a s1000rr gen1 about 10 years ago and liked it, tried to do a px.. but never happened

might be looking to get a s1000rr gen3 so joining the forum looking for hints and tips

Welcome along, RR will seem like an armchair compared to the R1! (Much less weight on the wrists).

Best decision I made was going from my R1 4C8 to the RR. Went for a gen 1 then ended up going for the gen 4. Wouldn?t look at another R1.

i did like my 4c8's tbf... both flashed

i brought a mates insurance written off s1000rr gen3 ... just panel damage, clock bracket and clocks broken

i've pretty much finished repairing the bike (just need the clocks coding to the ecu.. which will be sorted some point in August)
