Hello all.

Had my 2013 S1000RR 2 weeks now so I'm finding my feet with it.
It's standard at the minute.

What can u do to improve it?
It's not bad as it is, but the gearbox feels a bit crap! I read somewhere before about changing a spring which gets rid of the false nuterals.

What else can I do to generally improve the bike?

Cheers

Biggest improvement i made was bitubo forks. Couldnt find a setting i liked with the oems but now it feels very planted

It makes it slightly more easy to turn-in/flick.

The gearbox is agricultural, you just get used to it - it's easiest to find N from 2 whilst still rolling for instance. The quickshifter can be upgraded via kits like HM Racing's GP kit.

Best thing I did when I had mine was get the suspension professionally set up (100% suspension)

Yeah I've found that with the N from 2nd.

Will look at a hm quickshift. Feels wrong paying for something you already have tho. Why didn't bm just get it right!!
