I will be out the night before celebrating a birthday - I'll be there - if I'm not hung over. Early starts are not my thing!

I went out to ride the route today, Essex County Council are doing their best to spoil the fun by throwing far too many stone chippings all over the place. We will hopefully avoid the resurfacing that is going on this week.
