I was on track last Friday and the check engine light came on. Probably at the worst moment, 165+ and right in the braking zone. Really off putting!
Anyway it is not a first time it has come on, generally it is on track and goes off again. It does not go into limp mode and performs as per normal. It has been checked by the dealer and they said there are no fault codes stored. This time though it hasn't gone off.
I am going to take it to the dealer. But I am just wondering if there are any common issues that cause it? I have read that the exhaust valve not opening quick enough is one is possible problem and the air flap is another? (My bike has a stock exhaust).
