Brake guard question again

After my off at Dono I?m in the hunt for a new brake guard. Used the Gilles one last time and was looking to replace it with the same. So just seeing what other people are using and how they found them ( can you rebuild them?) .

Rizoma is good, I use one. The guard part is designed to be replaceable. I seem to recall you will need the bar ends too .

I used the Gilles. They look the part.

I notice R&G now make a more ?disposable? item.

alpha Racing Brake Lever Guard

I have an alpha Racing brake lever guard fitted. I would definitely recommend it as they are reasonably priced for what is a sacrificial part, although you can buy spares from alpha Racing. For those looking at buying one just remember that they are not designed to protect the brake lever from crash damage but rather protect against someone unintentionally knocking the lever on track, or in pitlane, causing the front wheel to lock.
