Excellent - but I can't help on the transport side. FWIW, if you took the whole of Sunday to come up the roads up through Essex/Suffolk can be good fun (not North of England fun...but not bad)
Cheers for the enthusiasm Alex :) im sure it'd be a good route. But im thinking of getting back as well.

I'll be looking into van hire or sharing a lift/borrow a trailer though - i might get lucky from someone in Berks/Bucks

It takes about ~2.5hrs for me to get to South Central London. Finish at 5pm home by 8 easy. Parents are in Norwich so I'll be doing the ride home straight after the track day... can convoy to a point

All booked up - sharing a van with local chap who's also going!

Great, anyone on here?

Remember its for road bikes only so you must use road tyres and display a number plate etc. Look forward to meeting you at the forum paddock :).

Thanks Soof! Yup fully understand its a road-bike day - which i prefer!!

The chap is someone i know from the IAM forum: what a top bloke to offer me space in his van. We're going up the afternoon before so i'll get a chance to get o know him. Look forward to swapping notes over a coffee bud ;)

Just hoping the bike comes back from Almeria in one piece and on time!!

C'mon guys and girls. ive heard we are still in need of more riders for this event. Get booked up now - it's going to be a great event!

Righty gents. The day is fast approaching, I'll not jinx the weather so just to say if you're coming along on the 9th look out for the s1000rr forum pit garage and get yourself in it! Friends and family welcome. I should have a couple of forum banners up over the entrances (I think we're 2nd or 3rd along from the main building), but if that doesn't happen just look out for me or Alex, or bins, or Baz, you get the picture....

Very much looking forward to the day and meeting more forum members. I've lost track of who's coming so make yourself known when you are on site.

Look forward to meeting you Soof - what ya fancy Jaffa Cakes or Choc Hobnob with yr coffee mate :)

Hi everyone, only a few days to go, there's a few places left in our experienced group, I put out a last minute call last week and it worked wonders, perhaps Soof or Alex will post the picture I used! I'd better start on the final arrangements tomorrow night.

Completely forgot about this! No spaces left in the inters? Done several trackdays but none in the last 10 years or so, so not sure if experienced would be a good idea...

Things have sped up in the last 10 years, better to go down a group than up a group and go from there mate

You'd be fine in fast/experienced. If you struggle you can move groups - :)

It's not the kind of TD where bikes are hassling you around, it's 'ride friendly'.

I should be on commission lol. (I'm not).

Cheers Soof, I'm in. Just put the holiday request in- fingers crossed.

I'll be working on my mobile chicane skills in the fast group...being one not dodging them...
