You missed the saga from june to august.

Cuts out at random...literally random. I've done 400miles since the engine loom replacement 'fixed' it.

Its all in my showroom thread.

bad earth or low battery?
usually one of those 2.
battery is easy, earth is not good, it will be a 6mm bolt to the chassis somewhere come loose

also road bikes see rain, check large multi pin connectors, the big plastic shrouds are not watertight, it will be all white and furry in there, green copper contacts etc. small wire brush/suede brush will square it away for a trackside fix

Bad earth/connector was the original thoughts but 2months with BMW didn't turn up an earth lead loose.

Bazzaz fuel computer. Lamda's are plugged in.
When this happened last year it continued to happen long after the bazzaz was removed.

Back from the BMW guys in Almeria. And they've managed to make things worse. I now have the !SPEED and the epilepsy inducing shift light flash. Tried cleaning the ABS sensors. Will check they didn't monkey with the silly speed limit setting in the menu when I get back to it tomorrow. Funny thing is I just rode back from Almeria without a shut down whilst the !Speed was on. Small mercies.

I feel an afternoon on the open roads calling.
