Hi all, just was wondering about noise levels... just order a full system for my 17.... been quoted 112db at 5500rpm.... just wondering if that is stupid loud? I will not be tracking my bike so not that bothered.... just was wondering... cheers M

112 dB is ridiculously loud. For perspective the BSB noise limit is 107 dB!

I've got a full Akra system with no cat and long carbon can (no baffle) and it runs about 98db on track day noise tests, so not sure where 112 comes from?

Yea it's very loud indeed, don't forget the Db scale is logarithmic

It looks sweet and I'm sure will sound amazing on the road. So long as you're not planning on UK track days with it I'd say it's bang on. If I had a 17 RR, I'd be very tempted by the GP system
