Quick update for what it's worth.....I went to see this 2006 10R,... there was bags of life in the battery but strangely the guy couldn't get it fired up....it had been lying in his shed, he pressed the immobiliser by mistake, older petrol, blah blah some other thing as proceeded to totally flatten the battery !... anyhow, I nipped back an hour later as he stuck it on charge...appeared to fire up fine... look round it...had a chat, benefit of the doubt etc...everything looked in order... paid him the money around 10ish that night, he brought it round to mine next morning (he lives 1/4 mile away)... long story short struggled to fire up again...faffed about with it for 5 of 10 mins and getting more suspicious by the minute I rejected the bike... he made some ridiculous comments about blaming me for flooding it then switching it off incorrectly then some other pish....when he knew I wasn't wearing that he then told me he'd spent the money on a new bike last night and I'd need to wait till he saved up to get it back.. this guy was unbelievable!... anyhow our further chat resulted in a refund that day....
Btw big shout out to @phil on here, he went to look at a nice C2 2005 ZX10R in Swindon for me today.... turns out it was rough as a badgers arse...
So still in the hunt.. the saga continues..
