That 2nd pic is of the bridges i put up.
Had 2 friends there yestetday, 1 was instructing. Both 1st timmers at silverstone. They said they had a great day

Not a bad day, I'll check the DL later but think a 2:37 was my best. Not bad for me on road tyres.

Now for the 2hrs home...

Fwiw,

K3 RR. 500-1000 Miles.
Came of the warmers around 29psi off 80degC warmers.
Track temp was about 35degC

Its a bit bloody bumpy....

I was right then, the surface has changed since it was laid. Thousands of little bumps, instead of a few bigger ones.

I think there will be changes this winter.

Silverstone GP

Compared to the old surface the new one is much better in terms of grip and consistency in the dry. In wet conditions Silverstone has always a nightmare to ride and despite the resurfacing it now appears to be even worse due to standing water and poor drainage.
