Praise for the D3 Tail Tidy...

I have got the RandG tail tidy that my bike came with, is there a real difference between the 2? sounds like the d3 gets good reviews but has anyone actually done the comparison? Thanks

    Trade in prices

If you want a new bike, sell yours privately. As long as you have kept it in good nick and fully serviced etc then you can put the price halfway between the shitty offer you got from the dealer and the price they would sell it for. Also this then gives you more bargaining chips for getting a...

    2014 rr

Have to agree with Lumpy about the build quality vs Kawasaki's, i've had a few Ninjas and i believe it was impossible to remove any fairing panel without the plastic connectors snapping off, the BMW is not that bad.....its not Honda good though, but then its still a relatively new bike.

    2013 S1000RR Stolen Racing Red/ Apline White

Sorry mate thats F**king awful. Don't want to make it worse but i have a friend who had his bike nicked, same deal no keys etc apparently they can disarm the steering lock, immobiliser, alarm and any other security feature in about 30 seconds. Selling it on would be more of an issue i guess...

    s1000rr?? Or should I...

I cant believe its as high as 1 in 3, most people probably haven't had any disasters at all and just the usual wear and tear stuff, can't deny there are things that aren't great about the S1K but people usually post when something goes wrong, not many people post that they have gone for another...

    Snetterton double header 17th/18th June

Got this booked ages ago, finally convinced my mate to come and have a go as he didn't have the confidence to go on track and the weather looks dreadful which isn't gonna inspire him with confidence at all. As for me, just put a new set of K3's on a couple of weeks ago....not sure im all that...

    Impossible clutch cable

Finally got around to doing it, took the tank off this time, much easier, so thanks to you Davy. However, there is still a load of slack ( a good 5mm of flex at the end by the spring) in the cable, the only way i can seem to get it tight is to wind the lever out to the max on the adjuster, but...

    Impossible clutch cable

Thanks. I did wonder if that was a way to go. Is that an easy thing to do? Just take off the fairing at the top and a few screws? or is it a logistical nightmare as with everything on a bike.

    Impossible clutch cable

Hello, My clutch cable has loosened off quite a lot.I have trawled the threads and have seen that i can adjust it via the cable on top of the clutch down on the left side of the bike. What i cant find though his how the hell you managed to get any purchase on the nut?? i took off the fairings...

    s1000rr?? Or should I...

Not being funny but if you can afford to get the HP4, where's the decision? It's streets ahead of the s1k and everything else by all accounts.

    s1000rr?? Or should I...

I swapped a 600 for mine, its absolutely fine on the roads, not an issue at all. The track however.......:welcoming: oh yes

    Rockingham 26th of May

Well, Rockingham trackday complete. I really enjoyed it. It was the international circuit, and i enjoyed the change from Snetterton which is my local track. It definitely isn't set up for the Beemer but actually in terms of improving your riding ( which is why i do it) and having knee down fun...

    Request from Ride Magazine

Hopefully there are enough of us here who's bikes haven't skipped a beat and my only complaint is that it tears through tyres at track days. Also, i read al ot of horror stories about the bike, some on here, and still couldn't resist once i'd ridden it.

    Rockingham 26th of May

Thanks, its the international, and any track will meet my requirements of driving like a loon without getting arrested. The rest is just icing really.
