    2015 weird swinging arm noise

Yeah wheel nut is torqued. There's Deffo some movement there, when you pull the wheel over towards yourself. Must be the roads around Aberdeen area that's done this lol. Yeah going to take it down to BMW today.

    2015 weird swinging arm noise

Hey guys, you will all think I'm such a moan!! So my bike just doesn't feel right on the rear end and the suspension feels very sluggish and feel every bump. Came home after a wee run and put the bike on its side stand to have a looky. If I put my hand on the tyre and pull the wheel over in the...

2015 s1000rr wheel spindle V sprocket carrier bearing tolerance

Yeah I'll get a video uploaded, what's best way of doing that? I've had it up on the paddock stand and left in gear running and standing at the back of the bike you can literally see the sproket "wiggling" around lol it's not cool :-( I'm going to see if they can order a new spindle to see if...

2015 s1000rr wheel spindle V sprocket carrier bearing tolerance

BMW say there should be anything up to 4mm of play in the rear sprocket, and that's to and from yourself if your at the Side of the bike holding it with two hands, does anyone else think this should have zero play really??

2015 s1000rr wheel spindle V sprocket carrier bearing tolerance

Hi all, you maybe previously read I had an issue with Cush rubbers / slack sprocket carrier hub when the wheel spindle is all torqued up with wheel fitted etc - in my eyes this shouldn't happen. Bike went into beemer and got new complete sprocket carrier and Cush rubbers, maybe a slight...

    2015 gearbox internal problems

Cheers dude, mine is going in tomorrow for replacement sprocket carrier, wheel bearings, new Cush rubbers under warranty. Dunno if it's this that's causing a bad noise on mine or not. I certainly hope so. It's also getting the recall done for that gear shift arm lever.

service time what oil do i use at 3800 miles doing one my self

Get the genuine BMW advantec 5w-40 grade oil. It's quite expensive but it's what bmw use. It's made by shell. BMW used to use the castrol power 1 racing but not anymore, probably for about a year or so now they don't use it. That's across the board with BMW motorrad. You'll get filter from John...

15" Cush drive / sprocket carrier play / wear

Cool cool. What are the differences with the titax compared to the Beemer ones? Prices for starters probs? Lol

    help service light

Re: Service Light John Clark Aberdeen bud, shouldn't be that expensive to get the service light off. Gs911 tool is very expensive for how many times you'll need it I'd say. But as the man says it's the only other way apart from Beemer software.

    190 v 200 rear tyres?

After no time at all the Beemer will shred a tyre like that haha. Pretty normal in my eyes depending how you ride it. The k3's should last 1500/2000 miles of your thrashing, if not more. You sacrifice durability a bit seeing as the grip is very high when tyres are hot. Should get two rears to...

    190 v 200 rear tyres?

awesome! Yeah was looking in to this. I believe the HP rims use a different Cush drive too? What's required, rims / different front discs / spacers / sprocket carrier / and jobs a good un? Or?

15" Cush drive / sprocket carrier play / wear

Let the Beemer mechanic take a look today and he said bearing in the sprocket carrier on its way out, also needs Cush rubbers. He put it needing Cush rubbers down to the bearing being on its way out. Totally not cool though considering the bike only covered 5k miles huh. Must just be the sheer...

    190 v 200 rear tyres?

I also suppose on that note should keep the tyres sizes standard, for insurance reasons too? Forged rim a 200 and std is a 190?

    190 v 200 rear tyres?

Just stick with a 190 I would say like. Also tyre type go for a metzeler racetek k3, that's the tyre I use and it's great, keeps her glued (well, the rear wheel atleast lol) only thing is in the wet bang her on rain mode and just be careful as the tyre is at its best in dry conditions

15" Cush drive / sprocket carrier play / wear

Cheers guys. Yeah I'm thinking the bearing must be shot in the carrier / due to this its not doing the Cush rubbers any good? Would it be worth changing rear wheel bearings too? These seemed ok. Bikes only done 5k miles, how weird huh? To be fair though the bike gets jip from time to time haha
