help service light

hi what can you do to get this dam service light out my mate does all my services but cant get light out anything i can do . bmw is out i dont pay the prices when a service costs me 35 quid . for everything

Service Light

The only way to remove the SERVICE! alert on the display and the warning light is to visit your BMW dealership. Alternatively you could purchase a GS-911 tool which allows you to perform the same function via the diagnostic port on the bike.

John Clark Aberdeen bud, shouldn't be that expensive to get the service light off. Gs911 tool is very expensive for how many times you'll need it I'd say. But as the man says it's the only other way apart from Beemer software.

thats a bargain as you have to use one of the licences to connect the bike...wouldn't you?

No, some come with unlimited licence option thus cost more.

not sure what licence the guys have , for the software I assume? I was more than happy to pay a tenner

IIRC the enthusiast version has 10 licences, the professional version is unlimited.
