A little light reading for an actuary?

Ended up paying up over ?63 in import duty at the door. Still works out less then what they charge for import via their website, but you?re not far off 2x Evotechs for this price. Ouch ...

Slowly trying to legitimise the stomp 140.

Got a rk chain, ebc clutch and springs. And a actual mikuni vm26 carb. Hopefully will solve the run out of fuel in bowl issue on main straight.

Some laugh tho. 27 lads on track. Front tire is fairly pushed

Evotech levers! I actually like the stock brake lever but need more adjustability for the clutch. Quite like the folding idea too, one less thing to worry about when I fall off :moody: Hopefully going on tomorrow when the Scottoiler X-system is fitted along with a pair of Michelin Power 5s :)

I believe @ImmortalIndian had some fun and games with Evotech levers and the brake master cylinder. Be sure the lever isn't applying the brake at rest.

Be interested to hear your thoughts on the Power 5?s in due course Katie. I?m finding mine a bit hard after Power RS+?s at recommended pressures. Grip in wet and dry is excellent, very reassuring in the wet too.

It?s just a little patience ensuring the pins line up.... helps you get closer to knowing your bike.... with the experts from the forum as mentors of course :)

Well, I've still got the S21s on and they're pretty ropey so think the 5s will be an improvement no matter what! Are you running pressures at 36/38?

My ZX10 has Power 5s and my HP has RS+.. only had two decent blasts on the ZX messed about with pressures initially I had them mirror my HP @ 30/32, it just didn't feel right, lighter bike and totally different geometry was more than likely the reason [emoji85].. took both up 4psi and instantly felt better.

I'll stick at that for now, hopefully our weather will change and get her out again and hopefully still feels as sure as the last blast.

30/32 on the RS+ just feels so right.

I got to know my Mille just like that (minus the forum!). The memory of being stuck between 2 lanes of traffic, at a traffic light, in London, with my brakes jammed on is a lasting one...

In that instance it was the plunger was a fraction longer than needed which meant the pressure built up with each use but it put me off doing it myself!

Changing out my Bitubo to K-tech. All ready to be fitted for Mallory on Saturday [emoji3]

No, 36/42. I?m only 76kg?s fully kitted up so looking at lowering rear pressure might be worth a try.

A beautiful pair of Ex Lee Johnston NW200 / TT wheels :)

He did not have much luck with them but they will do me just fine :watermelon:

Oz Cattiva Magnesium rear and HP front with T-Drive discs...

Michelin Power 5's going on later....

These are actually stunning, heavy but in a good sense, beautifully mchined....

Could easily pass for 35 quid if you picked them up and felt the weight... anodised finish nicely contrasts with the Black body and fastener, that lattice end is exquisite... never been so excited by a pair of bobbins lol...

Less than 9 quid from Aliexpress !...

Have to hand it to these guys, the qaulity of the stuff I've bought is very high, well worth the 3 week wait...
