Squeaking brakes

Hi new to forum I have a 2014 model it's only 4 months old, I noticed today on way to southport when I press front brakes it started to squeak. And all the way back to rivi barn a bit annoying at times, should I take it back to williams bmw to let them look at them or should I put some brake cleaner in. I've only done 1000 miles so not done many miles, never had problems with my 2010 model. Cheers ash

the front ones do have a habit of binding on sometimes, mine started to do it so I stripped them down for a good clean especially around the piston seal area. (some rare occasions they have been know to lock up completely!) mine is a 2010 model tho so I wasn't bothered doing it myself , but yours is pretty new so it might be worth taking it back for them to have lookee ..

Copperslip is recommended by motoradd I use the brake grease from work(BMW) and still have the squeak I haven't tried but they said it's the only thing that works also these brakes have power so they will eat pads brake dust needs cleaning even the cars chew pads.
