Spare keys

Any one had to get spare keys cut and programmed ?

Me bike only came with one key so I could do with a spare just in case I loos it and also the plastic one for my wallet would be good.

I was just wondering how much they would cost or if any one has bought the cheaper ones from eBay that can be cut the programmed for the immobilizer

I've just been up to cannon BMW and ordered a spare key and and the plastic one. Only ?72 all in for both.

I was expecting over ?100 each because of the immobiliser coding

How did you get the key, did you have to take bike to have key programmed? Or can it be done without bike?

All done straight from bmw. But I had to take lots of I D with me

Ordered mine today ?38 inc for the 1 key just hope it works!

Got mine, works perfect and ?38 all in which I would say is very reasonable
