Shoei X-Spirit 3 top vent removal

I've got a Shoei X-Spirit 3 and want to strip the shell down to clean the air vents. Boy are there a collection of dead things in there! The lower chin ones look easy enough as they are held in with screws. Its the top vent I'm nervous about. Has anyone removed theirs previously? Any hints tips please? Just knowing how its fastened in would help. Or should I leave it alone!.

I can?t comment on the 3 but the 2 has an adhesive glue of some kind that holds it in place. I wanted to do the same as you and thankfully had one to practise on because I had blootered it on track, decided to leave the good one well alone.

Might be better in invest in toothpicks and cotton buds
