I got bored. Bought the Eazi-Grip Silicone Race Pipes for my '23.

I know that in theory I should just pull the OEM pipes, clean the connection points, fit the new pipes and refill the coolant.
But is there anything worth putting on the connection points to make sure the pipes grip well. I'm aware of people having bad experiences where the jubilee clips were done up but not stupid tight and they came off.

(Most disappointing thread ever?)

Are they the clamps which distribute the force more evenly?
Not sure about more even clamping, but they have a higher clamping force than jubilee and don't bite the hoses like jubilee.

Black clamps, bonus!

So they do 37-40mm and 40-43mm. The hose is 40...off the bike. I don't know if it stretches on and 40 will be the least or the most...
Sigh...
