Totally devastated, after mine ecu gone bad and bike fired on 3 cylinders I got second ecu programmed by crowe performance put it on bike and bike runs fine again, took it for a short spin and after 10-15 miles bike cut off shows ews error on dash, manage to start it but same problem only on 3 cylinders so check coil ind wiring and same situation no signal to first cylinder no spark so looks like ecu fried again what could be the reason for it, anybody had similar issue before? Thanks

If its not the loom I'd suspect the rectifier/generator was causing a spike.

Strange that it?s not protected somehow by fuse, wire was check previously in independent bmw specialist garage and apparently they ok but who knows, bmw dealer done check as well and pointed ecu but never mention anything else, hopefully i will be take it to crowe performance after Christmas and they will find the problem, those s1k want to ruin me haha

but EWS is key/antenna fault, usually antenna issue,so good chance it's the same problem you had originally, why do you think ECU was fried? was that a dealer diagnostic? or you just think?

Daler plug different ecu and fired straight away on 4 cylinders same after when i put ecu cloned by CP fired with no issue i think antenna problem was related to cloning, but dropping cylinder is related to coil control unit in ecu
