Equally, it's good to hear you've been happy. They seem to have a great reputation which is why I was surprised at my experience. I spent Saturday at a Ducati dealer playing on a new V4S and the difference in treatment was marked. Even my wife (yes, I'm dumb enough to drag her along - I just have to stand in front of all the price stickers :wink-new noticed the difference in treatment. If it were up to her, the V4 would be in my garage right now.

The problem is, whilst I thought the V4S was mega, I can't help but feel I'll get round a track a lot quicker on a Gen 4, so I'm leaning towards that (despite finding it less comfy on the road). It's a shame as I can get a V4S at a couple of days notice...

I'm just trying to arrange a second test ride on a Gen 4 just to double check my suspicions.

Kind of got extras but tbf Bmw messed up my order so they had to caugh for the extras on the bike they got me instead but all in all I?m happy with the deal just got a box of bits I?ve ordered to put on it now lol

Mine was the only one there with the power rs?s which is a bit wierd but it was also the only sport with a performance pack also so didn?t know if that makes a difference?

Yeah Simon told me he wasn?t best pleased when two weeks to go he gets a call. Glad it got sorted mate.... first hockenheim one on forum ain?t it??

I was laughing when you said they won?t be on long
I like the power rs i thought the grip is ok in the cold snd the wet all things considered. I couldn?t get on with the metzlers at all I had to take them off someone said try the rs and since then had them on my last 3 bikes, my brother thought it was great as he got free metzlers ... but he couldn?t get on with them either and switched to bridgestones then. I guess each time their own .

He had a stressful day that day I think lol. I?d given him a tight deadline for delivery with work and a bike trip planned and it was all getting a bit close but fair play to him and Cotswold he/they sorted it.
Not sure if it?s the first I thought a chap put a picture up a few weeks back of one. I really didn?t want the carbon wheels and the red reminded me of my Ducati which was just a cluster f@ck from day one so silver it was. I really like the colour I think it works well in the bike and the pictures I?ve seen on line don?t actually do the colour justice I think, I?m tempted to order my next car in it too .

picked my msport up on sat in a van,i also fitted the venture shield kit,what a ball ache ,ive done 4 bikes before,it came met rrs, also I was told to run it in up to for 7000 revs 300mls then up to 9000,is that right 0n the 15 I took it up to 9000 ,and I also found out the rear wheel nut is a 34mm,which I don't seem to have bugger,has anyone got a safe ,easy way off putting on motografix tank pad , it comes in 4 bits,cheers

my running in will involve not thrashing it for 450 miles then get a service. with the K3's and damp roads there will be no thrashing it anyway.lol
