S1000rr fairing fitting Help

Bike is a gen 2.
Ive put some fairing on for a a friend and there a gap between the side and headlight fairing.
All bolts holes and clips line up so was wondering is this normal or will I have to adjust the headlight fairing more towards the fairing?

Any advice or pictures is greatly appreciated.

Hi john, are they bmw fairings?

Its not unusual for those sort of gaps, usually due to flex in the fairings or changes in alignment of the fixings. All I would suggest is to loosen the headlight fairing piece bolts and see if it will move into place before tightening.
